Overview

Data Watch is a network data monitoring application. This privacy policy explains how Data Watch handles your information.

Data Collection

Data Watch does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data remains on your device.

Data Watch accesses the following on your device:

• Network traffic statistics (via Android TrafficStats API) to display your mobile and WiFi data usage
• Network state to determine whether you are connected via mobile or WiFi

Advertising

Data Watch uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

Data Storage

All usage statistics are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.

Permissions

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — to monitor network usage in the background
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW — to display the speed indicator in the status bar
• INTERNET — required for AdMob advertisements
